Professional Experience: 1996-Present - Vice President,
Paired Rail RR Publications, Ltd. Home based publishing company. Involved in
all aspects of pre-press from conception, copy and art preparation and page
layout. Have published fourteen books, authored or coauthored nine, edited
and page layout production for five. Currently assistant editor of Scale
Rails, a national monthly magazine. Extensive knowledge of Adobe
Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, ImageReady, QuarkXpress and
numerous other Macintosh programs. Familiar with pre-press requirements
including trapping, font collection, outlines, clipping paths, RGB to CMYK,
.pdf workflow, FTP site, etc. Involved with all aspects of publishing
business including marketing/advertising, distribution, accounts receivable,
etc.
