    Editor and Publisher, Missouri Pacific Historical Society, The Eagle, 1993–1996. Responsibilities included the editing and publishing of The Eagle, a quarterly magazine issued for the membership of the Missouri Pacific Historical Society. Published 15 issues of The Eagle, beginning with Volume 18, Number 1, Spring, 1993 and ending with Volume 21, Number 3. Handled all subcontracting including color separation and halftone generation, printing, mailing, and binding. Was responsible for canvassing the membership for articles and photography, writing columns, and getting The Eagle into hobby shops. Handled all hobby shop sales, including distribution and invoicing. The Eagle was in 16 shops moving about 145 copies per issue at end of tenure (there were no hobby shop sales before). During tenure membership rose from just over 400 to about 950.

    Editor and Publisher, Santa Fe Railway Historical and Modeling Society, The Warbonnet, 1995–1996. Responsibilities included the editing and publishing of The Warbonnet, a quarterly magazine issued for the membership of the Santa Fe Railway Historical and Modeling Society. Published four issues of The Warbonnet , Volume 1 Numbers 2-4, Summer, Fall, and Winter, 1995, and Volume 2, Number 1, Spring, 1996. Responsible for all subcontracting including color separation and halftone generation, printing, mailing, and binding, and writing columns.

    Author, Hyrail Productions, 1992–1994. Was contracted to author two Santa Fe Annuals, 144-page soft cover books. Produced both books within contracted time schedule. Provided manuscript in compatible electronic media format (ASCII text files), collected and organized all photographs, wrote all photo captions and entire manuscript for the 1992 Annual, and wrote or edited all articles for the 1993–1994 Annual. The Santa Fe 1992 Annual was published in October, 1992, and the Santa Fe 1993–1994 Annual was published in July, 1994.
